STUDENT COUNCIL
The Student Council (STUCO) provides an ideal leadership opportunity for highly motivational students.  The mandate of STUCO is to assist the school in building strong and healthy school spirit by coordinating student and school activities throughout the year. Student council consists of class representative and an executive team, made up by the President, Vice-President, Treasurer, and Secretary.  Candidates for student council run for their positions and adhere to the campaign rules set forth by out STUCO Constitution.  The ideal candidates for STUCO will realize they are ambassadors of the school’s reputation and witnesses of Christ’s love for the world.  

Beginning with the 2007-2008 school year, Student Council will be separated into High School, Girls’ Middle School and Boys’ Middle School each with their own executive team and age appropriate, gender specific events.

Events such as spirit days, guest motivational speakers, student run clubs, movie nights and high school dances will be sponsored by the different Student Councils.  Below are just a few of the events scheduled for this year:

Sept 21st – 22nd: Lock in
Oct. 26th – Halloween Party
Dec 14th – Christmas Party 
February 13th – Daddy Daughter Dance
April 14th-18th – Spirit Week
May 29th – end of the year party

EQUESTRIAN CLUB
Equestrian riding is an excellent opportunity for students to increase their self confidence and personal achievement.  

Each session is limited to 16 participants chosen on a first come, first served basis from grades 6-12.  At this time, this activity is only open to female students.

This is a riding club that introduces participants to the basics of horsemanship and riding.  The club uses the facilities at Pegasus Equestrian Center, a “premier” stable located at 537 Weidman Road in Ballwin.  For more information, visitors may access their website at www.pegasus-stables.com

The club meets for a total of ten riding lessons scheduled on Mondays from 4-6pm.  The dates for lesson run from October-December & February-April.  A horse show/exhibition concludes each session.

Students learn the basics of gromming, horse & tack care, and riding in the classical English style.  The horses used in the program are lesson horses utilized for their safety and experience with beginner riders.

CHESS CLUB
Available to all 4th-12th grade boys, the Chess Club provides students the opportunity to play chess in a friendly club atmosphere and also to compete more seriously in chess tournaments.  As students play each other during club meeting times, the club leader will review basic and intermediate chess tactics, strategy, and game planning to help advance and improve students' understanding of the game.  Chess club is an excellent opportunity for students to develop the social and critical thinking skills necessary for Integral Formation.  For more information, please contact Mr. Rich Esswein at This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it
