Integral FormationSM is the harmonious development of all dimensions of the human person.  Gateway Academy guides students to realize their full potential, by focusing on the following four areas of formation:

INTELLECTUAL FORMATION
intellectual.jpgThe academic program leads students to the highest level of intellectual formation.  Throughout the curriculum, your student is challenged to exercise each fact of his intellect: analysis, synthesis, relation and expression.

Your child will encounter a challenging curriculum in our elementary program that nurtures the love of learning and naturally leads to a higher level of critical thinking which he will experience in our college preparatory program.

As a Gateway Academy graduate, your child will be prepared to face the rigors of a demanding college setting.  In life, your child will have a solid foundation enabling him to analyze and make solid, faith-based decisions in all aspects of his life.  Your child will be a determined, confident, intelligent Catholic leader among his peers, business associates, and family members.  Your child will be given the opportunity to reach his highest potential with the ability to influence other for society and Christ.  human.jpg

HUMAN FORMATION
The human person is more than a memory bank that requires input.  Human formation focuses on forging integrity of character which is the true foundation of joy.  This is accomplished through interiorized commitments to deepen values and the fostering of habits and virtues suitable to our human dignity.  Human formation yields a man or woman of principle, a true leader and an asset for today, and a necessity for tomorrow.  This human formation is accomplished through knowing your child personally and treating him as a unique individual helping him grow in the habits and virtues to fulfill his vocation.

The religion curriculum is centered on learning the Catholic faith in its fullness.  The true fruit of knowledge of theology is based in a personal love for Jesus Christ.  The study the Christian faith is complemented by the encouragement of a life of grace through prayer, the sacraments and retreat suited to the student’s age.  Your child will participate in organized Christian service projects, imitating Christ.

The Chaplaincy program (priests and religious) attend to the spiritual needs of the whole family through retreats, sacraments and boys’ and girls’ apostolic organizations and outreach programs.  Parents may benefit from the availability of parent education programs throughout the school year.
